Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946, New York City) is an American Republican politician, businessman, and billionaire. He served as the 45th and 47th President of the United States from 2017-2021 and since 2025. His political style is strongly confrontational, focused on business, conservative values, and demanding loyalty.
Career
He began as a successful businessman in real estate, sports, and entertainment, where he built an empire. He entered politics in 2015, announcing his candidacy for President with the slogans "Make America Great Again " and "America First ". In 2016, he won as the first candidate with no political experience. During his first term, he pushed through tax cuts, achieved energy independence, replaced NAFTA with the USMCA, reformed the military, established the Space Force, and made peace deals in the Middle East. The second presidency continues to deregulate, secure the border, fight inflation and strengthen the economy.
Trivia
He has five children - Barron, Don Jr, Ivanka, Eric and Tiffany - and 11 grandchildren. He has survived several assassinations and faced legal attacks. His platform includes the largest deportations in history, fighting drug cartels, protecting freedom of speech and religion, strengthening the military, and keeping the dollar as the world's reserve currency. He met with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš at the White House.
