Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave a wide-ranging interview in which he talked about the war, his attitude towards Russia and his hope for peace. In the interview, which lasted over 4 hours, he also touched on topics such as corruption in Ukraine, economic reforms and the country's potential in the energy sector. Zelensky stressed the importance of the Ukrainian language as a symbol of freedom and independence, although the interview was conducted in Russian. He detailed the morning of February 22, 2022, when Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine, and how he and his team responded to the crisis. The president was critical of the U.S. role in the conflict and expressed hope that Donald Trump could help bring about peace. At the same time, he did not shy away from criticizing Vladimir Putin and his policies. The peace talks, the Minsk agreement and NATO's role in the conflict were also discussed. Zelensky stressed that Ukraine is open to investment and wants to attract back Ukrainians who fled abroad after the war.
